Open to the public every Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. or by appointment.
At Pierre's Pedal Project, we rebuild bikes that were bound for the landfill and provide them to the community at a low cost. Our shop is open to the public, providing a space for people to buy bikes, purchase small parts, and repair their own bikes. A shop manager or expert volunteer can help you get the job done.

Pierre's Pedal Project began in John Beller's garage in Driggs. He noticed that unloved bikes kept ending up in the metal pile at the Transfer Station. So John collected them on Salvage Days, fixed them up at home, and made them available to kids in need. Since the garage days, the project has evolved into a full-fledged bike shop with professional tools and a community workspace. Our inventory is approaching 200 bikes, some fully rebuilt but many waiting for a cleaning and repair. Our goal is to provide high-quality, safe bikes to anyone who needs a bike for commuting, recreation and/or rehabilitation. While we are only open to the public on Saturdays, the shop has turned into a year-round gathering place for bike minded volunteers ages 11 to 79. Since 2021, we've kept about 1,000 bikes out of the landfill and in the community.

Community members are saying....
“Riding my bike [from Pierre’s] along the dirt roads in the valley gives me so much joy and a sense of freedom. But the memorable experience to me was the welcoming and communal atmosphere I observed at Pierre’s pedal project the day I got my bike." - Kat
"Biking has been a great way for our family to spend time together, get where we need to, save on gas, get exercise, and have fun. Thanks, Pierre's Pedal Project!” - Susan
“Your bikes give us a chance for our grandchildren to ride when they visit us. We are able to trade up to larger bikes as they grow. Thank you so much.” - Gayle
