Glass

Teton County crushes glass with a bulldozer and then repurposes it locally. The crushed glass serves as cover for construction and demolition pits and as an additive for road bases. Due to its weight, transporting glass is highly inefficient, and the nearest recycling facility is in Colorado. Rather than shipping it away for recycling, we find sustainable ways to reuse it within our community.

Bring glass to the recycling area at the Transfer Station or put it in your RAD Curbside bin.
