Wet cardboard, or cardboard that used to be wet
Waxed cardboard boxes, like fruit boxes
Honeycomb Pads (pictured below)
Cardboard gets baled and then sold to recycling companies.
Pizza boxes are contaminated with grease from the pizza and decrease the quality of the recyclables the county can sell. Staff at the Transfer Station will pull pizza boxes out of the recycling and put them in the landfill.
Bring cardboard to the recycling area at the Transfer Station or put it in between your RAD Curbside bins.
