Appliances with Refrigerant

Appliances with refrigerant must be brought to the south side of the recycling tent.  

• DO NOT cut the refrigerant line before bringing it to the Transfer Station. Staff are trained to safely evacuate the highly toxic refrigerant. Once this process is complete, staff will bring your appliance to the metal pile to be recycled. 

• Tell the scale master you have an appliance with refrigerant
